Discovering Smart Technologies and their Role in Web 3.0

Smart technologies are like the super tools of the digital future. Imagine a world where augmented reality lets you see beyond what your eyes can see, where artificial intelligence helps you make smarter, faster decisions, and where every everyday object is connected to the internet, from your refrigerator to your car. . .

These technologies, including augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and distributed ledger technologies, are set to transform our world in key areas such as health, education, entertainment, and more. Prepare for a future where technology is not only in our hands, but also part of our daily lives.

In Web 3.0, smart technologies play a fundamental role in various aspects:

Smart spaces: Refers to environments such as cities, factories, buildings and homes that become programmable thanks to the proliferation of IoT sensors, both in the real and virtual world.

Smart assets: These are physical or digital objects registered in a distributed ledger, which guarantees their uniqueness, ownership and location. Smart contracts automate their transfer and use.

Smart contracts: They are programmable codes in blockchains that ensure transactions and agreements without the need for intermediaries.

Smart accounts: These are unique user accounts that manage decentralized identities, assets, wallets and secure transactions between spaces and users.

Smart IDs: They use decentralized identifiers to guarantee the authenticity of users, spaces or assets, preventing fraud and providing control over information.

Smart Payments: Programmable transactions that use digital wallets and cryptocurrencies for any exchange of value between users and assets in real or virtual spaces.

The Web 3.0 of the future will be an environment where technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality and blockchain will come together with humans, machines, data and more. A key feature will be self-sovereign identity (SSI), which empowers users to own their data and decide who they share it with. This promises a safer digital space controlled by the users themselves.
